Industry comes together to learn & laugh

The IFA 23rd National Conference held in September on the Gold Coast provided the opportunity for the shop-fitting industry to come together again in person following COVID cancellations of many events over the past few years.

​Excellent presentations by Mark McCrindle, Glenn Azar & Tony Wilson provided the opportunity for thoughtful reflection on leadership, teams, mindsets and interesting social data analysis providing direction for future planning and expectation on the nature of Australian States in the years ahead.

The largest trade expo for many years dovetailed into the conference plenary sessions with plenty to touch and see.  Dynamic with thrilled to offer the Flight Centre $1000.00 Gift Card to a winner whose key unlocked the Dynavent door sample we had at our trade display stand.  We had plenty of give-aways too including the all-important umbrellas – perfect for Australia’s East Coast La Nina weather events.
The Interior Fitout & Design Awards were sensational – such high standards again this year with world class brands and fitouts demonstrating a passion for retail around the country.
And what is a trip to the Gold Coast without a visit to Movie World – we can all use a bit of escapism every now and then.  The sun shone on us for the weekend and the Gold Coast views didn’t disappoint.  Thanks to all the shopfitters and industry colleagues who attended showing great support for our industry – as IFA National Principal Partner, it was a pleasure to see you all.
